چکیده
Material and methods MM pts received an induction therapy with IPI 10 mg/kg every 3 weeks (Q3W) for four doses and FTM 100 mg/m2 weekly for 3 weeks. Peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBMC) and sera were collected at baseline, wk12, and wk24 to perform phenotypic and functional T cell assays, and to investigate humoral responses against a panel of tumorassociated antigens (TAAs) and soluble NKG2D ligands (sNKG2DL).

Three-year follow-up of advanced melanoma patients who received ipilimumab plus fotemustine in the Italian Network for Tumor Biotherapy (NIBIT)-M1 phase II study.
BACKGROUND In the NIBIT-M1 study, we reported a promising activity of ipilimumab combined with fotemustine in metastatic melanoma (MM) patients with or without brain metastases. To corroborate these initial findings, we now investigated the long-term efficacy of this combination. PATIENTS AND METHODS This analysis captured the 3-year outcome of MM patients who received ipilimumab combined wit...

Prior to 2011, the only commercially available agents commonly used to treat metastatic melanoma-including dacarbazine, temozolomide (Temodar), fotemustine, carboplatin, paclitaxel, and interleukin-2-demonstrated limited efficacy, and no study involving these agents had shown an improvement in overall survival. The standard of care for the treatment of metastatic melanoma was radically changed ...

The incidence of melanoma is increasing steadily both in Poland and worldwide. Until 2010 three drugs were approved for the treatment of metastatic melanoma - dacarbazine (DTIC) in Europe and USA, fotemustine in Europe and interleukin-2 (IL-2) in USA. Approval of ipilimumab and vemurafenib in Europe and USA has changed the standard of care, while the next candidates such as dabrafenib and trame...

متن کاملPhase II DeCOG-Study of Ipilimumab in Pretreated and Treatment-Naïve Patients with Metastatic Uveal Melanoma
PURPOSE Up to 50% of patients with uveal melanoma (UM) develop metastatic disease with limited treatment options. The immunomodulating agent ipilimumab has shown an overall survival (OS) benefit in patients with cutaneous metastatic melanoma in two phase III trials. As patients with UM were excluded in these studies, the Dermatologic Cooperative Oncology Group (DeCOG) conducted a phase II to as...
